How to Get Involved

Worship: Pathways gathers for worship every Sunday morning at 10:00 AM at The Highlands School in Belcamp (2409 Creswell Rd, Route 543). The coffee is hot, the music is cool and the people are just right. Coffee and light refreshments are available from 9:45 AM.
Journey Groups: Journey Groups are a great way to become known, and to get to know others in the Pathways’ community. In Journey Groups we pray together, eat together, laugh and learn together. Mostly, we grow closer to God and one another as we seek His counsel and direction for our lives. Groups meet throughout the week and all over the county. There’s bound to be one that meets near you.
Ministry Teams: At Pathways we believe church is a place to serve others, not a place to be served. Whatever your gifts, talents and passions may be, there’s a place where you can use them to serve God and others. Some ministry teams are open only to members, but many are open to anyone who’s willing to lend a helping hand. New opportunities are announced frequently, so stay tuned.
Discipleship Path: Jesus instructed his church to make disciples, or followers of him. We think he was serious, and since disciple-making takes time and requires intentional effort, we’ve created a path to help you on your way.
  • Begin: This is a bi-monthly course offered as an introduction to all-things Pathways. Find out why and how we started, where we’re headed, and how you can be part of the amazing work God is doing among us.
  • Belong: This is our bi-monthly membership class. Once you’ve completed this course and joined a ministry team, you are a full-fledged member of the Pathways’ community. We’re committed to helping you find your ideal place of service – the place where you Belong.
  • Become: Learning to follow Jesus takes time – it’s a process of becoming like him. Become is a 6-week course designed to explore the ways in which Jesus related to the Father, others, himself and creation. This semi-annual course is intended to help us learn to relate as Jesus did. We’ll look at the beliefs Jesus held and the actions Jesus took to maintain those healthy relationships, and we’ll learn to emulate them ourselves.
  • Be More: Technically Jesus didn’t just train people to follow him – he trained people to train people to follow him. We do the same. Be More is our semi-annual leadership development training program for members who want to lead and equip others to become like Jesus. Graduates of Be More are placed in leadership roles within the Pathways’ community to continue the process of Jesus-followers training Jesus-followers.
Give: Maybe you’re not ready to get involved, but you like what you see and you want to support this work. There are many ways to do that. First of all, pray. That’s really the most important way to give to this work. Second, stay tuned to what’s happening here. Ask to be added to our email list, and we’ll keep you posted on what God is doing. Third, support us financially. It costs money to do ministry, and we’re just getting started. You can help us realize the dreams God has given us, by sending a tax-deductible donation to support our ministry. Just click the “Online Giving” tab at the top of this page.
