Community
Student Ministry:
If you want real friends and real discussions about real issues, then this is the place to be. Our students are all about doing life with God and one another. See what it’s all about.
Children’s Ministry:
We have a number of ways we take care of our community’s kids. Some are weekly, some monthly, and some are seasonal. We love to help children learn about God, and our community is committed to helping parents learn and share ways to talk to their children about living in the way of Jesus.
Kairos Groups: Kairos groups are smaller gatherings of folks who meet weekly to strenghten, encourage and equip one another to follow Jesus in our every day lives. Kairos groups meet in a variety of locations, days and times, and usually meet for 10-22 weeks before taking a break and reassembling. If you want to grow in your faith, get to know others on the journey, or just become known within the community itself – Kairos groups are the best place to start.
Missions:
When Jesus said “Go and make disciples of every nation”He meant every nation. At Pathways we take missions seriously. We’re a new church ourselves, but we’re already helping to start churches in Aberdeen and Baltimore. In addition to our local church planting efforts, we’ve been involved in ongoing mission work in Scotland and Senegal, and Guatemala.
Respite Care Ministry:
Pathways Respite Care Ministry is an opportunity to build relationships and assist families with children with special needs. This ministry gives us the chance to bless children with special needs, their parents/guardians and their siblings by providing respite. We provide parents and guardians with a day of respite so that they can catch up on errands, clean their house or take a few moments to enjoy some time to relax. We provide respite to the children so that they can have a fun experience outside their normal routine and meet new friends. “Respite Care Day “ is a quarterly event.
